She has now returned to Hoihow and will shortly begin running again. It is said that M, Marty, the owner of most of the steamers running between Hong Kong and Haiphong, intends to put two large steamers on the same line. The fare charged to Ngai Chu and back, i.e., round the island, is 8 dollars for Chinese and 16 dollars for foreigners. The small vessel was well patronized on her first trip.
